Statistical methods commonly used in the collection and analysis of public health data. Includes methods for descriptive data analysis, fundamentals of probability and sampling distributions, methods for statistical inference, and hypothesis tests based on one or two samples, basic concepts of regression, non parametric statistics, and introduction to qualitative data analysis, and the use of statistical software.
